Golf Course
Experience 45 Championship Holes
Bass River Golf Course, in Yarmouth, Massachusetts, was founded in 1900.
In 1914 it was redesigned and expanded by golf course architect Donald
Ross. A beautiful 18 hole layout featuring wide fairways, small greens
and views of Bass River. With multiple sets of tees and an overall
length of 6138 yards from the tips Bass River is fun for all levels. The
signature hole #9, a 169-yard par 3, which plays across marshland to an
elevated green.

Bass River Beach
One of the really popular beaches on the south side of the Cape,
featuring Nantucket Sound’s warm water.
This beach has full facilities
and lifeguards provided by the town of Yarmouth. There is a daily
parking fee in season. It has a large parking lot, but get there early
on a hot day, especially on the weekend if you expect to find a parking
spot.
The beach is good size, clean and sandy, with great swimming. Bass
River runs adjacent to the beach, providing a constant parade of sail
and motor boats, and there is a boardwalk and nice areas to sit at the
river’s edge, providing a great view of the activity. You can walk quite
a distance along the shore from Bass River, in front of the many hotels
that line the shore.

Exciting programs for different ages and abilities
Bass River Yacht Club, located in South Yarmouth, was
established to promote the sport of sailing on Bass River &
Nantucket Sound.
They offer an accredited youth sailing program, adult sailing, racing, and activities for boaters of all craft & abilities.
Their historic, waterside clubhouse hosts daily luncheons and social

Parker River Beach
Restrooms, sea view benches, good parking
This popular Yarmouth beach is on Nantucket Sound, with a good size
parking lot and a large playground. The beach is good for swimming, it
is flat and sandy, with a gradual drop off. In season there are life
guards and restrooms. The daily parking fee and weekly parking stickers
may be purchased at the parking booths. Parking stickers for the season
may be purchased at Yarmouth Town Hall.
